Our fifth grandchild, a granddaughter, and our youngest daughter's first child...did not arrive today "as scheduled"...*laughing*
They rarely do.
Slept crappy. Work night the fifth. TGIF!
Picked up food for Matt and I, and some pet food and cat litter, before work. Ordered some seeds online - heirloom peppers, tomatoes, garlic, some violet cauliflower that hails from Sicily and a long, cylindrical pumpkin from Naples.
Had a tasty grilled sandwich - Black Forest ham (on sale!), thick-cut bacon, Swiss cheese, Roma tomatoes and lettuce on sourdough - and oven fries. Packed half of it for work, along with some Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.
Started reading David C. Korten's Agenda for a New Economy: From Phantom Wealth to Real Wealth. Going to be a good, even important, book...a deep, experienced thinker concerning the work we all need to do to reclaim our nation, our world, and our future.
